Honolulu police on Tuesday said the state student information systems are not safe for players, including the Hawaii Football Information System (HFIIS).
Hawaii Athletic Association spokesperson Kim McLeod confirmed the HFIIS is no longer operational and said it was taken offline Monday due to a computer outage.
Hawaii’s football team plays home games at Kailua Stadium and will not play at the Maui Sports Arena in December.
The Hawaii Police Department tweeted on Tuesday that a computer system was shut down at the HHIIS in the state of Hawaii.
A spokesperson for the University of Hawaii-Oahu said Tuesday that it was a matter of safety.
